The Pima County Surf U21 soccer team ended its inaugural season with a 5-0-1 record and Desert Conference championship after Sunday’s 8-0 win at the New Mexico Lobos.
The Surf, an independent team playing under the national Surf soccer brand, outscored their opponents 25-1 this season.
Cienega girls soccer coach Tony Torres is the Surf’s coach. He has also coached youth teams with FC Tucson and Tucson Soccer Academy.
