An Ironwood Ridge High School and Arizona graduate, Allen is also the head coach for the Warriors’ boys track and field team. … Diego Ramirez has exhausted eligibility at quarterback but Allen and his staff have discovered an able replacement in Anthony Skinner, a senior who is listed at 6-4 and 200 pounds. Ramirez passed for 1,529 yards while completing 113 of 217 pass attempts with 17 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Allen, the offensive coordinator who works with quarterbacks, is high on Skinner with his playmaking ability. … Pueblo’s top two rushers from last season, Anthony Carpenter and Elijah Duron, have graduated. Damian Duarte, a senior, is one of a few backs who is a returning and figures to be a top rusher out of the backfield. WR Max Espinoza is the top leading receiver returning. He caught 19 passes for 297 yards last season. … LB Dylan Carrillo, a senior, led the team in tackles last season with 54, including three for loss. … Most of Pueblo’s schedule includes Southern Arizona schools, with the lone exception a game at home against Casa Grande Vista Grande on Sept. 1.

Keep an eye out for: LB/DT Armando Ybarra, who is 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds and only a junior. He has size but a small sample of experience. He can bench press 245 pounds, squat 405 and deadlift 405.
