Salpointe Catholic junior linebacker/tight end Nathan Spivey recorded 10 tackles and his fifth interception of the season in the Lancers’ 35-26 win over visiting Mountain Pointe on Saturday.
Spivey (6-foot-1 and 200 pounds) also had a tackle for loss, one sack and a caused fumble.
His five receptions (for 23 yards) as a tight end led all the receivers.
The 12th-rated Lancers improved to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in the 6A Central with the victory.
Spivey is the Week 10 APS Digital Print/Frog & Firkin Player of the Week.
