Monday, January 15: McKale Center

Held and hosted by the Tucson Unified School District, Coaches for Charity and the University of Arizona, the 20th edition of the MLK High School Basketball Classic will take place on Monday, Jan. 15 at McKale Memorial Center on the University of Arizona Campus.

Believed to be the longest running high school basketball event to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. held in a Division I arena, the Classic features eight high school basketball games that count towards power points. This is much more than an invitational, these games count and the games are held in historic McKale Center.

All regular season rules apply and the teams listed below agreed to shift an already scheduled game to the Classic. The day starts off early with an elementary school exhibition game tipping off at 8 a.m. and it ends at night with the Sahuaro boys taking on Pueblo at 7:30 p.m.
