The Pima Community College men’s basketball team won its fifth straight game on Wednesday as it got back to ACCAC conference play with a 110-80 win at Scottsdale Community College.
It is the 11th time this season the No. 14 Aztecs (13-1, 5-1 in ACCAC) have eclipsed 100 points.
Pima 13 shots from 3-point range and five players scored in double figures against Scottsdale (7-3, 3-2).
The Aztecs took a 62-45 lead at halftime and outscored Scottsdale 48-35 in the second half.
Sophomore Dillan Baker (Salpointe Catholic) hit seven 3-pointers and scored a game-high 27 points. He also had four rebounds.
Sophomore Jaylen Alexander finished with 21 points and nine rebounds while freshman Gabe Oldham scored 11 of his 15 points in the first half. He also added five rebounds and two blocks.
Freshman Cohenj Gonzales posted 10 points, four assists and three steals. Sophomore Tanner Poeschl had 10 points and three rebounds off the bench.
Sophomore Zach Williamson added six points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
The Aztecs will play at Cochise College in Douglas on Saturday. Game time is 4 p.m.
