Former Tucson High and Arizona standout Neysia Howard was named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year for GCU.
Former Salpointe standout Dillan Baker was named All-ACCAC DII First Team and All-Region DII First Team for Pima. Former Catalina Foothills standout Lual Lual All-ACCAC DII Second Team and All-Region DII Second Team for Mesa.
Former Bisbee standout Gabriella Lopez was named DII Defensive Player of the Year, All-ACCAC DII Second Team and All-Region DII Second Team for Pima and former Nogales standout Dominique Acosta was named All-ACCAC DII First Team and All-Region DII Second Team for Pima.
Former Salpointe standout Mason White was named to the Frisco Classic All-Tournament Team as an infielder for Arizona.
This list will be updated all year in an effort to recognize all former local prep stars who have gone on to win either academic and/or athletic awards at the next level.
