Catalina Foothills senior Finn Meister qualified for The Ascendant presented by Blue (formerly known as the TPC Colorado Championship) from Jul 11-14 at the TPC Colorado in Berthoud, Colorado. The Ascendant is part of the Korn Ferry Tour.
Finn will tee off at 7:42 a.m. along with former Texas standout Caleb Hicks and former Clemson standout Turk Pettit.
Ironwood Ridge represented Arizona at the PGA National High School Boys Golf Invitational held in Frisco, Texas from July 1-3. Brasen Briones (2024), Jacob Medina (2024), Jayden Schmitz (2024), Sean Kelly (Sr.) and Wyatt Charnoki (Sr.) took part. Ironwood Ridge took 13th place.
Former Salpointe standout Carlos Astiazaran (Pleasanton, California 6/20), former Ironwood Ridge standout Brasen Briones (Scottsdale 6/6) and former Ironwood Ridge standout Andrew Bowers (Scottsdale 6/6) are making it through the qualifying process for the 2024 U.S. Amateur to be held from Aug. 12-18 in Minnesota.
