Flowing Wells and Canyon del Oro moved from the 4A Conference to the 5A Conference and Ironwood Ridge moved from 5A to 4A. Andrada Polytechnic of the Vail District joins the 3A South Region.
Marana and Tucson split to go 5-1 in the 6A South Region and both squads lost in the Play-In Tournament. Alexa Balderas is the new coach at Marana.
Cienega went 6-0 to capture the 5A Sonoran Region and Mountain View went 5-1 in the 5A Southern Region. Cienega lost in the Play-In Tournament as did Ironwood Ridge. Mountain View and Catalina Foothills lost in the first round of the state playoffs. Matea Villegas is the new coach at Cienega.
Salpointe went 8-0 in the 4A Kino Region and Mica Mountain went 10-0 in the 4A Gila Region. Salpointe and Mica Mountain made it to opposite sides of the semifinal round. Canyon del Oro and Sahuarita lost in the first round. Keith Rubio is the new coach at Salpointe.
Pusch Ridge took second place in the 3A South Region and the team upset Window Rock in the Play-In Tournament before falling in the first round.
Benson and Willcox went 11-1 in the 2A East Region and both teams lost in the first round of the state tournament.
Desert Christian went 3-1 in the 1A Tucson Northwest Region and St. David went 6-0 in the Tucson Southeast Region. St. David finished in second place in the 1A Conference. Desert Christian and Valley Union lost in the first round of the state playoffs.
