Salpointe senior Joey Bernier shot a 4-under-par 148 (76-72) to hold off the field by four strokes to win the Boys 15-15 Division of the Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association (SAJGA) Tucson Open held at Randolph North this past weekend. Cienega junior Jaxson Pearson shot a 5-under 71 on Saturday.
Canyon del Oro senior Zufan Girard (63-83), Sabino senior Zaida Wise (64-82) and Rincon/UHS freshman Ariela Renee Trejo (66-80) came in at +15 in the Girls 15-18 Division.
