Salpointe senior Division I-caliber placekicker Kyah Francone made field goals of 51 and 54 yards and averaged 40 yards with his three punts in the Lancers’ 27-23 victory at Peoria Centennial last week, meriting him Week 5 APS Digital Print/Frog & Firkin Player of the Week.
Francone was also perfect (3 of 3) with his point-after attempts and all five of his kickoffs were touchbacks.
Francone and coach Pat Ryden will each get a banner from APS Digital Print, whose owners are related to former Lancer standout running back Bijan Robinson, now of the Atlanta Falcons.
