Flowing Wells over Casa Grande 55-33 on 50th anniversary of the program

Nevaeh Urenda scored a game-high 16 points to help Flowing Wells past Casa Grade 55-33 Friday night at home. Flowing Wells is now 9-2 overall and 6-0 in power-ranking games. Urenda is inching towards 1,000 career points and she might get it at the Flowing Wells Holiday Shootout that begins on Dec. 27.

Ana Araujo Borbon added nine points, Allison Verdugo scored 11 and Nadia Hernandez also finished with 11. Adonia Mendez scored six. For Casa Grande (1-3), Victoria Fallon scored eight, Tyra Vaughn had seven and Eternity Haygood scored six. Casa Grande will host Douglas (3-1) on Dec. 17.
