Former Salpointe standout Mason White (Arizona) was named to the NCBWA Preseason All-American list to go along with the Perfect Game All-American list and the preseason Big 12 list.
Former Ironwood Ridge softball standout Devyn Netz (Arizona) was named a Top Cat of the Week by Arizona.
Pima standouts Arianna Flores (Salpointe) was named ACCAC Pitcher of the Week for the third time and Jiselle Nunez (Tucson) was named Player of the Week.
This list will be updated all year in an effort to recognize all former local prep stars who have gone on to win either academic and/or athletic awards at the next level.
