Former Arizona third baseman Tony Bullard, recently activated from the injured list after being out for almost a month, went 2 for 4 with a run, double and RBI on Thursday night with Double-A Pensacola (Fla.) of the Miami Marlins organization.

Buena High School graduate Darick Hall (Class of 2013) entered in relief late in Triple-A Indianapolis’ 17-2 loss against Omaha on Thursday night and served up his first home run as a minor-league pitcher after belting 164 home runs in the minors. Hall, a right-hander, had 15 starts as a pitcher for Cochise College in 2014 and was 6-4 with a 3.29 ERA. He was 9-3 with a 3.43 ERA in 16 starts at Dallas Baptist in 2016 before transitioning to being a first baseman (6-foot-4 and 250 pounds) in the Philadelphia Phillies’ farm system after he was drafted in the 14th round in 2016.
