Branden Boissiere, in his fifth season in the minors after his Arizona career concluded in 2021, is on the move to the Double-A level for the first time. He was assigned by the Washington Nationals to Double-A Harrisburg (Pa.) after spending parts of the last three years at Single-A+ Wilmington (Del.). He batted .257 with 16 doubles, seven home runs and 41 RBIs for Wilmington before the All-Star break. His OPS (on-base percentage and slugging percentage) was .728. In his last season with Arizona, he helped the Wildcats reach the College World Series, batting .369 with 12 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 63 RBIs. His OPS was .966.
