Catalina Foothills senior Jayden Nester shot a birdie on the eighth hole to finish her state qualifying round with a 1-over-par 37 on the Omni Tucson National Catalina Course on Monday. Teams and individuals will use their best seven qualifying rounds to advance to the state tournament slated for late October for Division II. The state tournament will be played at the Aguila Golf Course in Laveen Village.
