NOTES
— Former Arizona RHP Dawson Netz was masterful in his first start at the Single-A level with Myrtle Beach (Fla.) of the Chicago Cubs organization. He allowed three hits and a walk with four strikeouts in five innings of shutout pitching in a 7-0 win over Charleston (S.C.) of the Tampa Bay Rays organization.
— Netz pitched against former Arizona teammate Brendan Summerhill, who went 1 for 4. Netz improved to 2-0 with 1.62 ERA in his five appearances with Myrtle Beach.
— Former Arizona 3B/1B Bobby Dalbec hit two home runs to give him five homers in his first 10 games with Triple-A Omaha of the Kansas City Royals organization. He has 21 home runs this season at Omaha and two other Triple-A teams — Nashville of the Milwaukee Brewers and Charlotte of the Chicago White Sox.
— Former Arizona RHP Austin Smith earned his first save with Double-A Hartford (Conn.) on Thursday and fifth overall at the Double-A level this season. He was a trade-deadline acquisition by the Colorado Rockies, who made a deal with the Atlanta Braves to get him.
