NOTE

— The Los Angeles Angels recalled former Arizona right-hander Chase Silseth from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday. He has made most of his appearances in the big leagues the past three seasons as a starter, but Silseth transitioned to a full-time relief role at Triple-A in late July after returning from the 7-day injured list. He pitched 8 2/3 scoreless innings while striking out 13 over his last nine appearances with Salt Lake. He could work his way up the bullpen depth chart if he excels early. He is off to a good start, pitching a scoreless inning against the Chicago Cubs. He allowed two hits, struck out one, and walked one.
