The Pima Community College women’s soccer team closed out the regular season on Saturday at Mesa with a 2-0 victory, clinching an undefeated run through ACCAC play.

It was their sixth shutout win of the season.

Freshman Yajaira Cervantes (Tucson) scored her team-leading 15th goal of the season after she converted on a shot in the 28th minute.

Sophomore Kristal Navarro (Tucson) added an insurance goal in the second half as she scored on a rebounded header inside the box in the 66th minute. Sophomore Samantha Mendez (Tucson) had both assists on the goals

Pima finished with six shots on goal as sophomore Phoebe Knisley (Canyon del Oro) closed out the game with six saves.
