
The fourth-ranked Pima Community College men’s basketball team is 25-0 overall and 13-0 in the ACCAC after topping Scottsdale on the road Saturday night.
Pima is 60-1 over the last two season and is on a 55-game winning streak in the regular season.
Pima outscored Scottsdale 52-38 in the second half after game with the Artichokes (12-12, 6-7) was tied 30-30 at halftime.
Sophomore Mason Hunt scored a team-high 24 points going 9 for 17 from the field while grabbing seven rebounds.
Freshman Isaiah Hill (formerly of Pueblo) went 7 for 10 from the field and scored 20 points to go with six assists and three rebounds.
Freshman Rowan McKenzie added 14 points as he went 4 for 7 from 3-point range.
Sophomore Isaac Johnson had 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.
The Aztecs shot 46.7% (28 for 60) from the field, 34.% (8 for 23) from beyond the arc and 85.7% (18 for 21) from the free-throw line.
The Aztecs will next play at Phoenix College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
