DEVELOPMENT
Former Nogales infielder Demetrio Crisantes made a successful Double-A debut on Tuesday night after he was activated from the injury list. He hit a double, scored a run, produced two RBIs and walked twice for the Amarillo Sod Poodles of the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. Crisantes, a Class of 2022 graduate at Nogales who originally signed with the Arizona Wildcats but opted to go pro, is the first batter in Amarillo history to record two or more RBIs and two or more walks in their Sod Poodles debut. He went through rehab assignments for a pulled hamstring at the rookie-league and Single-A+ levels to begin this season after missing most of last season with a shoulder injury.
