Sunday – Travel day back to Tucson
Maksim Brnovic, a freshman forward from Montenegro, is back in Kaunas, Lithuania after playing there for BC Zalgiris-2, the developmental team for Zalgiris in Lithuania. He is the latest Wildcat to write a blog from Arizona’s trip to Lithuania. Here’s an excerpt: “As I begin my journey as a Wildcat, I am learning that Coach (Tommy) Lloyd and this program have standards that must be met. That’s what has been the most beneficial to me about this trip so far. Learning about the history of great players that have worn the Arizona jersey has helped me begin to grasp what it means to be at Arizona. We are not just playing for our teammates on the roster this year, we are playing for all those guys who came before us.”

Arizona plays the first of its three exhibition games at Lithuania on Wednesday morning at 9:30, Tucson time, against the Lithuania “B” team. It will be 7:30 p.m. at Kaunas at that time. The high temperature at Kaunas on Wednesday is slated to be only 69 degrees.
