The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy kicked off its football season Saturday night with an overwhelming win on the road against the San Tan Foothills 48-6 in a 3A East game.
Pusch Ridge senior Dylan Shoaff’s 32-yard touchdown run to put the Lions on the board in the first quarter.
Senior quarterback Race Pinneo followed with touchdown passes to Levi Adcock and Andrew Fontagneres, giving the Lions a commanding 21-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Senior MJ Buckner broke loose for a 14-yard touchdown run to increase the lead for the Lions.
San Tan Foothills briefly answered when Jeremiah Brown scored on a 92-yard touchdown run.
