Former Arizona center Kaleb Tarczewski and Olimpia Milano captured the 2020 Italian Supercup after beating host Virtus Bologna 75-68 in the final today.
Tarczewski finished with six points and four rebounds for Milano, which has won four Supercup titles in the last five years.

Tarczewski, who graduated from Arizona in 2016, has played professionally for Italian basketball club AX Armani Exchange Milan since 2017. In May, he reached an extension agreement until 2023.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue my career with Olimpia Milano. Over the past three and a half years, this city and it’s people have become home for me. I can’t wait to get back on the court and fight for the city of Milan,” Tarczewski said on the club’s website.
Tarczewski, 26, joined Milan from NBA G-League team Oklahoma City Blues in 2017. In his four-year career with the Wildcats, he tallied 1,185 points, 879 rebounds and 117 blocked shots.
Gigi Datome scored a game-high 17 points for Milano today, including five key points in a row. With the score 64-60 and 4 minutes left to play, Datome drained a 3-pointer and then had another basket to put the game out of reach.
Malcolm Delaney, formerly of Virginia Tech, was named MVP of the Supercup.
