Pusch Ridge senior athlete Evan Lovett rushed for 141 yards on six carries with scoring runs of 62, 10 and 20 yards to help lead the Lions past Mesa Eastmark 41-6 on Friday night at home.

Lovett also came up with a plus 70-yard punt in the game. In all, the Lions put together over 450 yards of offense and their defense limited the Firebirds to less than 175. Pusch Ridge visits Yuma Catholic (1-0) next Friday night.
Lovett earns a banner from APS Digital Print and the “Frog & Firkin Football” for his teammates to sign.
