Walden Grove senior linebacker Sebastian Adamski has signed a national letter of intent with Drake, making it four local players who have officially joined a college program.
Adamski, 6-foot and 210 pounds, joins CDO running back Stevie Rocker Jr. (Arizona), former Salpointe lineman Jonah Miller (Oregon) and Cienega athlete Ryan Swoger (South Dakota State) as Southern Arizona standouts who signed a national letter of intent on Wednesday.
Adamski finished with 182 tackles, 20 for loss, in his three-year varsity career at Walden Grove.
“It’s the greatest feeling ever,” Adamski said when asked what it is like becoming a college football player. “Achieving the goal I’ve been working for my whole life is a blessing. On top of that, I get to experience a new state and culture. But most importantly, I get one of the top educations in the country.”
Drake is a Division 1 FCS school at Des Moines, Iowa.
Cienega safety Sebastian Felix committed to Drake on Wednesday. He said he will sign with the Bulldogs in February.
