Impulse-Nielson went 6-1 in the Swing Into Spring Tournament at Sierra Vista over the weekend, capped by a 4-2 win over Desert Thunder Rosty in the championship game Sunday.
Emily Marsh went 2-for-2 including an RBI double in the fourth inning that put Impulse ahead. Abigail Zsitvay also had an RBI.
Impulse improved to 24-12-3 in its tournament games this year. Desert Thunder Rosty is 26-3-1.
