Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez received his 12th verbal commitment for 2015 today when safety Anthony Mariscal of Bakersfield (Calif.) Liberty High School told the staff he wants to play for the Wildcats during an unofficial visit. Mariscal (6’1″ and 180) told Scout.com he had scholarship offers from Wyoming, Nevada, Eastern Washington, Northern Colorado, Sacramento State and Cal Poly. He also said Montana State, Oregon and Utah were recruiting him.

Wyoming was the latest to offer Mariscal a scholarship. Word around recruiting circles was other Pac-12 schools might begin intensifying their recruitment of Mariscal, who is a versatile athlete.
#Wyoming very active in SoCal today, have now offered safety Anthony Mariscal and corner Colin Samuel

Rodriguez and his staff have shown in the last couple years that it’s never too early for early commitments.
Apparently, Rich Rodriguez and company feel that June is a good month to get a commitment or ten
