SOUTHERN ARIZONA TOP OPS MARKS IN PROS EACH CLASSIFICATION
OPS, or On-Base Plus Slugging, is a baseball statistic that combines a player’s on-base percentage (OBP) and slugging percentage (SLG) to provide a comprehensive measure of their offensive performance. It essentially reflects how frequently a batter reaches base and how well they hit for extra bases. A good OPS is generally considered to be .800 or higher, while an elite hitter might exceed 1.000.
