Current Rincon/University Athletic Director Bart Peterson was inducted into the Arizona Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame (AzATA) on Saturday. Peterson joins former University of Arizona trainer and professor Dr. Gary Delforge, former Arizona trainer Warren Lee, former Canyon del Oro trainer Scott Linnaker, former Pima trainer Ben Carbajal, current Mountain View trainer Leah Oliver and current Sabino trainer Michelle Gonzalez.

Former Cienega standout Thomas Webb Jr. was named defensive coordinator for Azusa Pacific. Webb arrives at Azusa Pacific after serving on the coaching staff at Colorado State University Pueblo, where he coached the cornerbacks and helped guide the ThunderWolves to a Top-10 national ranking while leading the entire country in interceptions and turnovers across all NCAA divisions.

Former Marana QB Colten Meyer committed to play for Northern State University. Located in South Dakota, the Wolves compete in the D-II Northern Sun Collegiate Conference. Meyer set the Southern Arizona career passing record with 9,020 yards.
