
Tucson product Ana Gisele Kelly, who trains out of Cyclones Wrestling & Fitness, earned the 87-pound 12U freestyle title of the USA Wrestling Women’s National Championships at Spokane, Wash., on Friday night.
Kelly won by technical fall (10-0) in 46 seconds over Levonzel Scheidt of Big Cat Wrestling Club of Spokane.
She was also selected the Outstanding Wrestler of her age group.
Kelly’s father is former Empire High School football coach George Kelly, who played at Pima Community College and also coached there.

Ana, who had a bye in the first round, won all four of her matches by technical fall in the USA Wrestling Women’s National Championships at Spokane:
Second round: Won by technical fall (10-0) in 54 seconds over Ashlee Mellick (Bear Claw Wrestling ) of Maple Valley, Wash.
Quarterfinals: Won by technical fall (15-5) in 3:06 over Payton Solo (Sunnyside Ironman Wrestling Club) of Sunnyside, Wash.
Semifinals: Won by technical fall (10-0) in 36 seconds over Emma Zagorski (Pikes Peak Warriors) of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Championship: Won by technical fall (10-0) in 46 seconds over Levonzel Scheidt (Big Cat Wrestling Club) of Spokane, Wash.
