Arizona Wildcats land in Lithuania on second day of 11-day trip

-20-hour travel day

Lithuanian countryman Motiejus Krivas is being interviewed by reporters from his homeland upon arriving.

The blog written by teammate Ivan Kharchenkov includes this passage: “How about the welcome that Mo (Krivas) and Oogy (Ugnius Jarusevicius) received from the local media as we exited the airport! There were tv cameras and reporters there capturing their every move as we made our way to the bus. I would guess that is a pretty special feeling to be able to be part of a trip like this in your home country.  After arriving in Vilnius, we checked in at the hotel, grabbed lunch and then headed right off to practice at a local gym. As you can imagine, everyone was a little tired but we all pushed through it and enjoyed spending time with each other doing what we love – play basketball.”

Recent transfer RJ Godfrey of Clemson is with the Wildcats in Lithuania. Arizona is working to get him cleared to be eligible to play in the three games there.
