
Salpointe Catholic held a jersey retirement and Hall of Fame ceremony for former standout Bijan Robinson Friday morning. Robinson holds the Arizona state record for career touchdowns (114), Big School career rushing yards (7,036), Big School rushing TDs (103) and he is second all-time with 686 career points. Robinson is also the only player in state history to have three 2,000-yard rushing season.
Robinson was also selected for the Ed Doherty Award twice in his high school career before moving over to play for Texas in college. Robinson just signed a three-year extension with the Atlanta Falcons for $75 million of which $51 million is guaranteed.
