Isla Collins — QB/LB/ATH, Sophomore
Collins was the centerpiece of Salpointe’s 16-1 season that culminated with a 4A state title in the Lancers’ rfirst year of existence.

- 76% completion rate
- 4 interceptions
- 966 rushing yards
- 12 rushing touchdowns
- 10 interceptions on defense
- 211.1 total yards per game
In the 4A title game with Mesa Eastmark, won by Salpointe 17-0, Collins threw for 124 yards and ran for 105 yards with two touchdowns.
She also had several huge playoff performances. Against Flagstaff, she rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown, while against Glendale Deer Valley she threw for 219 yards and five touchdowns.
Notable: Collins was named the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year and has also been involved with the USA Under-17 flag football program.

Jhianae DesRosier — RB/LB, Senior
DesRosier was one of Salpointe’s key two-way players and provided a significant defensive presence.
- 8.2 rushing yards per game
- 3.0 flag pulls per game, best on the Salpointe team
- 3.1 tackles per game during the postseason stretch tracked by MaxPreps
One of her biggest moments came in the state championship game against Eastmark. After Salpointe’s defense forced a punt, DesRosier returned it 30 yards, flipping field position before Collins scored to put the Lancers ahead 14-0.
Aliyah Adger — WR/S, Junior
Adger gives Salpointe an experienced returning target on offense while also contributing in the secondary.
Her 2025 numbers included:
- 71 receptions
- 728 receiving yards
- 17 receiving touchdowns
- 3 interceptions
Adger was Collins’ top returning receiving target. Their connection was especially evident in Salpointe’s 14-0 victory over Buena: Collins completed 90% of her passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns, with Adger catching 65 yards and both TDs.
Against Rio Rico, Adger caught seven passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in Salpointe’s 40-0 victory.
