— Terrell Hayward scored Cienega’s first two touchdowns, including a kickoff return, against Buena. Another Arizona commit, Jamarye Joiner, rushed for two scores.
— Rincon running back Ty Grigsby rushed for 158 yards on 24 attempts in the loss against Sunnyside.
— Sunnyside running back Carlos Perez scored on runs of 80 and 74 yards against Rincon and finished with 174 yards on eight carries.
— Javier Dominguez made a 36-yard field for Tucson against Ironwood Ridge.
— An 11-yard touchdown run by Nick Brahler gave Ironwood Ridge a 14-10 lead with less than a minute left in the first half against Tucson. Brahler later scored from 4 yards out to put Ironwood Ridge ahead 20-17.

— Salpointe RB Mario Padilla had a second consecutive game scoring five TDs in win over Nogales, including a 75-yard run.
— Catalina Foothills QB Rhett Rodriguez, the Arizona coach’s son, completed 4 of 7 passes for 144 yards with two touchdowns against Cholla. He also ran the ball three times for 38 yards and two touchdowns.
