Video: Allen talks about Arizona’s resiliency vs. Oregon, supporting Alkins on tough day, NCAA tournament

LAS VEGAS — Kadeem Allen leaned back in his chair and flashed a wide grin when asked about Arizona’s resiliency in the second half when Oregon tried time and again to cut into the lead but could not.

“In practice, we compete with each other every day,” Allen said. “Each team has good players on it. When you competition like this, play another team, you’re used to it because you do it every day.”

Allen, the senior captain, of the team also talked how the team picked up Rawle Alkins emotionally after the freshman learned that his great grandma passed away earlier in the day.

He touched on the NCAA tournament and his hopes of Arizona staying in the West. And he discussed the difficulty of Arizona achieving its 30th win of the season in the victory over Oregon.
