Well, the Arizona Wildcats football team unveiled new uniforms Tuesday afternoon, replacing — I think it’s fair to say — the largely unpopular versions it has worn since 2013.
So, say goodbye to the gradient colors on the sleeves and jersey numbers.
Say hello to a strange — but large — font for the numbers, as well as as a bigger “A” logo on the helmet (what took so long?) and some shoulder stripes.
Unlike many of you, we don’t really get all a-flutter over uniform changes and such — how many wins are those worth again? — but at least it’s something to talk about with the start of camp still about a month away.
One thought: I do really like the red “A” logo against the blue matte helmets.
What do you think?
