Sunnyside put together a commanding performance to claim the Division I/Section III championship held at Desert Vista High School on Saturday. The Blue Devils outpaced second place Desert Vista 248 to 175.

11 Blue Devils brought home individual titles including Roman Bravo-Young in the 132-pound class. Bravo-Young recorded three victories to move into a tie with former Morenci standout Waldo Gutierrez with 178 consecutive wins. Former Deer Valley standout Jacob Swift is at the top of the list with 179.

Cienega brought home the championship in D-II/S-I over Mountain View 218.5-202.5 and Walden Grove won the D-III/S-I title over Safford, 231-206.5.

The state tournaments for the four divisions will run from Feb. 8-10 in Prescott Valley.
