While Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers (who went to Cal) celebrated with Wisconsin in the locker room, Nick Foles of the Eagles cheered on his former school.

Solomon Hill put a good motto toward Arizona’s Elite Eight appearance against the Badgers on Saturday — Avenge Anaheim. Hill and the Wildcats lost at Anaheim to UConn in the 2011 Elite Eight. Two of Arizona’s best teams in 1998 and 2003 also lost in the Elite Eight at Anaheim.

Tom Tolbert was part of Arizona’s second Elite Eight team (first under Lute Olson) in 1988.

Sean Miller finally had the opportunity to congratulate his brother late tonight.

The game was so intense, Sean Miller’s tie became loose in the first half. It prompted the Twitter handle @SeanMillersTie. Classic.

Sean Miller continues to be victorious against lower-seeded teams in the NCAA tournament. He now has a 11-0 record in those games, including a victory with No. 4 Xavier over No. 12 Wisconsin in 2009. The No. 1 Wildcats face the second-seeded Badgers on Saturday.

Sean Miller was never more animated than he was in the waning seconds of the win over San Diego State.

This is an understatement: Aaron Gordon is playing his best basketball of the season.

Oh no he didn’t.

Where does Nick Johnson’s 15 points in the last 2:46 rank among Arizona’s greatest individual performances?
