Arizona, ranked No. 10 in the College Football Playoff released today, will face No. 20 Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale on New Year’s Eve.

The Broncos (11-2) have never played Arizona in football. They won the Mountain West title last night over Fresno State.

The Wildcats (9-3) are champions of the Pac-12 South and are coming off a 51-13 loss to Oregon in the Pac-12 title game on Friday.

Arizona will play in its third bowl in as many years under coach Rich Rodriguez. The streak matches Arizona’s longest in its bowl history. The Wildcats played in bowls from1992-94 and 2008-10.

This will be Arizona’s third appearance in the Fiesta Bowl, both previously in Tempe at Sun Devil Stadium.
