[tps_title]No. 5[/tps_title]

Three players from Arizona were drafted in the NBA before reaching the age of 20, all of whom were 19: Eric Money (1974), Gilbert Arenas (2001) and Aaron Gordon (2014).

Symbolic of one-and-done players in this era, Stanley Johnson will join Gordon in that group in successive years. This comes after 40 years separated Money, Arenas and Gordon.

In case you’re wondering, T.J. McConnell at age 23 is not the oldest to be potentially drafted from Arizona. That distinction goes to Ben Davis, who was 24 when he was drafted in 1996.

At least 10 Arizona players in the modern era were 23 when they were drafted, the last being Salim Stoudamire in 2005.
