OREGON STATE (2-2, 0-1) AT
ARIZONA (3-2, 0-2)

Pointspread: Arizona favored by 10

— Oregon State will seek to give coach Gary Andersen his first Pac-12 win.

— Arizona’s defense has allowed 1,067 yards and 111 points in the last two games, blowout losses against ranked teams UCLA and Stanford.

Anu Solomon’s return from a concussion after missing half the UCLA game and last week’s game at Stanford does not surprise Andersen. “We were thinking that he would be back the whole time,” Andersen said. “It didn’t really affect how we prepared.”

— Oregon State true freshman quarterback Seth Collins “might be the fastest quarterback we play all year,” Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez said. “I have been really impressed with him. They do some similar stuff that we do and some other things as well. It is a completely different plan than what we saw last week (against Stanford) so everything that we worked on last week is going to be different than everything we are working on this week.”

— Arizona’s Nick Wilson leads the Pac-12 at 112 yards per game but was held to a season-low 45 yards at Stanford. Oregon State will counter with a trio of backs — Storm Barrs-Woods, Chris Brown and Ryan Nall.

— Arizona has the No. 11-ranked offense (42 points per game) against an Oregon State defense that ranks No. 81 at (26.3). The Arizona passing attack has averaged 220.4 yards per game, more than Oregon State has allowed (153 yards per game).

— Oregon State ranks No. 95 against the run, allowing 225 yards per game on the road.
