Not quite Arizona’s ball (because the returner was ruled down) but a stellar play nonetheless
CASEY SKOWRON LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! He strips the ball carrier and holds onto it! Arizona ball! pic.twitter.com/1HJ5zX5fdo

If placekicker Casey Skowron can step up on a stop and strip on a return (no fear), Arizona's 3rd and 4th team MLBs can step up too right?

Skowron positioning for Pac-12 special teams POW week honor. He should get it just for that tackle/strip on return even if it didn't count

Entering the game, Arizona punter Drew Riggleman was second in the Pac-12 and No. 12 nationally averaging 46.7 yards per punt. He averaged 53.7 yards in three punts against Oregon State. Pac-12 leader Tom Hackett of Utah was average 47.6 yards per punt before the game against Cal tonight.
How about Riggleman/Skowron? Riggleman punt inside 10. Riggleman 53.7 yrds per punt today making run at Utah's Hackett for top Pac-12 avg.

Significance of Riggleman topping Utah's Hackett in punting average in Pac-12? Hackett a consensus All-American and Ray Guy Award winner.
