Pima senior guard Jacqulynn (J.J.) Nakai scored 36 points and Sonia Bribiescas added 33 to lead the 16th-ranked Aztecs to a 114-112 triple-overtime win over Central Arizona in an ACCAC game on Saturday afternoon.
Nakai, who also had six rebounds and five assists, made two 3-pointers near the end of regulation, erasing an 80-72 deficit with a minute remaining.
Brianna Pitre hit the game-winning 3-pointer for the Aztecs with 34.8 seconds left in the third overtime.

The Aztecs, a Division II team that has won seven of their last eight games, are now 14-9 overall and 10-5 in ACCAC play. Central Arizona, a Division I team, is 14-8 and 10-5.
The Aztecs are in a three-way tie for second in the ACCAC with Central Arizona and Eastern Arizona. Cochise College, ranked No. 21 among Division I teams, leads the conference with a 14-1 record (21-3 overall with an 11-game winning streak).
Pima next plays at Scottsdale (6-17, 3-12) on Wednesday.
The Aztecs held on to beat Central Arizona despite getting beat in rebounding 66-48, including allowing the Vaqueras 27 offensive boards.
Ayanna Clark, a 6-foot-3 freshman from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly High School, had 35 points and 25 rebounds for Central Arizona.
