Cienega infielder Braeden Mondeau to play for Pima; Fernando Barreda for Cochise

Cienega standout infielder Braeden Mondeau (5-9, 160) announced his commitment to play for Pima on Wednesday afternoon. Mondeau batted .522 with four RBI for the Bobcats last spring. helping the team to a 7-1 record. Mondeau also had five steals.

In addition, Sahuarita standout infielder/pitcher Fernando Barreda announced his commitment to play for Cochise College Wednesday afternoon. The junior helped lead the Mustangs to a 5-1 record before the season was cancelled last spring.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014, he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017, a 2019 AZ Education News award winner and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years.
