Arizona pounds Dallas Baptist pitching for eighth straight win

Information from Arizona’s media-relations department contributed to this report:

Arizona extended its winning streak to eight games and secured a Frisco (Texas) College Baseball Classic championship with a 15-8 victory over Dallas Baptist on Saturday.

The back-and-forth game provided a difficult test for the Wildcats, who rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning after allowing two runs in the top half as Dallas Baptist (7-3) built a 7-4 lead.

Arizona (9-2) scored three more in the eighth to pull away.
