Arizona Daily Star reporter Bruce Pascoe, the Wildcats’ beat reporter, offers his valuable insight about Arizona and its matchup with Weber State.

Two Weber State players know a lot about the Arizona edition of Wildcats.

A good read about Weber State’s Tresnak, an All Big Sky pick who was not highly recruited out of Scottsdale Horizon in 2010 but has evolved into a capable player through diligent work in the gym.

Defending Davion Berry will be a significant challenge for Nick Johnson and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Both are needed to avoid foul trouble.

A piece of history for Weber State coach Randy Rahe.

Rahe is so impressed with watching Arizona’s defense on film that he will try to make a special trip to Tucson to pick Sean Miller’s brain.

Rahe echoed his comments to Jim Rome yesterday that he’s made all week: “Where there is an opportunity, there is hope.”

Just when you thought Rahe had nothing in common with Herb Sendek.

Joel Bolomboy, whose mother is Russian and father is from the Dominican Republic, is a 6’9″ forward who will attempt to guard Aaron Gordon tomorrow.
