Arizona basketball coach Sean Miller, a Pittsburgh native and Steelers fan, congratulates Richardson but warns him about the winter weather there.
Congratulations to @Dr4_Richh on being selected by America's Team. Good luck and get that winter coat ready! #BearDown #PrimantiBrothers

Arizona’s football program did some decent Photoshop work putting Marquis Flower’s mugshot over an existing Cincinnati player. Bottom line, Matt Dudek, Arizona’s recruiting coordinator, is trying to sell the program to recruits.
Marquis Flowers heading to the tough AFC North…good luck with the Bengals #BearDown pic.twitter.com/H3e8JVCYOr

Flowers, a linebacker who started his Arizona career as a safety, thought he would become a Buccaneer.
Lovie Smith called Marquis Flowers midway through 6th rd; said Bucs would like him as priority FA. 5 mins later, Bengals drafted him.

Miller also has ties to Cincinnati having coached there at Xavier. Since the Bengals are the Steeelers’ rival in the AFC North, it was Rich Rodriguez offering Flowers his congratulations.
Congrats to Marquis Flowers on his selection to the Cincinnati Bengals! #BearDown Bengals

Surprising the Pac-12 was third behind SEC and ACC in number of draft picks. The ACC? Some of the standout Pac-12 players who were not drafted: Washington quarterback Keith Price, USC safety Dion Bailey and USC running back Silas Redd (formerly of Penn State). No quarterbacks from the Pac-12 were drafted, although that’s not much of a surprise with Price not grading high with scouts and UCLA’s Brett Hundley opting to stay in school.
Draft tally. SEC 49 picks, ACC 42, Pac-12 34, Big Ten 30, FCS 19, Big 12 17, MWC 16, CUSA 11, AAC 10, Indys 9, MAC 8, DII 6, SBC 4, Canada 1
