Has any player fascinated fans as much as Rondae Hollis-Jefferson with his shimmy move at the free-throw line? That will be missed and can’t be duplicated.

Hollis-Jefferson should find a spot on an NBA roster immediately with his defensive versatility and ability to make things happen around the hoop offensively

Sean Miller is building a base of NBA-bound players in the same manner as Lute Olson, which pays significant dividends with recruiting. “There’s somebody out there who’s in the eighth or ninth grade now that we’ll end up getting one day because he played here,” Miller said.

Former Arizona teammate Aaron Gordon is one of many Wildcats who will welcome Hollis-Jefferson to the NBA.

For being a defensive ace, averaging 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds a game is impressive.

Miller will be hard-pressed to produce another versatile defender like Arizona has featured with Nick Johnson and Hollis-Jefferson in the last two seasons.

Miller looked like a proud father sitting next to Hollis-Jefferson at the press conference today.

With his character, hustle and team-first mentality as the sixth man last season and part of this season, Hollis-Jefferson is a model of what Miller should strive to sign every year.

No reason to doubt him.

The NBA Draft early-entry eligibility deadline is at 11:59 p.m. ET on April 26.

Part of Hollis-Jefferson’s assessment by DraftExpress.com: “Hollis-Jefferson is a great athlete, measured at 6’7” with a long 7’0.5” wingspan with a strong frame as well. He will be able to match up athletically with many wing NBA players, as his combination of strength, quickness and explosiveness will be difficult to match. He complements his athleticism by playing with high energy, going full speed almost all game while bouncing all around the floor.”

The Shimmy will catch on in the NBA. Marketing potential awaits.
