Former Arizona Wildcats tight end Rob Gronkowski has lived a charmed life lately, enjoying his popularity of a celebrity, highlighted by the Super Bowl win in February with the New England Patriots.

But the Madden NFL 16 cover has escaped him. New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will be on the cover as a result of fans on ESPN.com.

A former Arizona Wildcats player has never graced the cover of an EA Sports Madden NFL video game.

A field of four was whittled down to Gronkowski and Beckham after they prevailed in the first round of voting over Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson and Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
