Another interesting and exciting basketball season is upon us with Sean Miller entering his seventh year at Arizona.
Only 50 days separate us from the start of the 2015-16 season. That means AllSportsTucson.com will run another daily countdown blog toward the season-opener against Pacific on Nov. 13 at McKale Center.
This year’s countdown will feature only facts about this year’s team, rather than a historical perspective, because a necessary focus that must be applied due to the mysteries involved.
How will Arizona respond to captain T.J. McConnell no longer on the court?
How can Miller make up for the loss of one of the school’s best wing tandems in Stanley Johnson and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson?
Will Kaleb Tarczewski establish himself as a force great enough to become an All-Pac-12 selection as a senior?
Will senior guard Gabe York carry on the intangible impact McConnell had on last year’s team as a senior leader?
The countdown will also feature daily social media reactions as part of a slideshow in addition to the countdown graphic (at the top of this page).
